The Ferrari 458 Speciale has been officially launched in Australia. It's "only" $25,500 more than the standard 458, at $550,000 plus on-roads. It's the world's most powerful naturally aspirated V8, and can sprint from 0-100kmh in three seconds. The new mid-rear-engined V8 Berlinetta was designed to boost both performance and driving emotion to unprecedented levels. The Ferrari 458 Speciale uses an uprated version of the 458 Italia’s 4.5-litre V8 – now producing 445kW at 9000rpm, with 540Nm found at 6000rpm. This is also the most aerodynamically efficient production car in Ferrari history.
