Man accused of drunken crash to be sentenced

A SENTENCE date has been set for a man accused of killing his friend and injuring another in a drunken car crash.

A 19-year-old man charged with causing the crash death of Coast teen Bailey Sibraa has appeared in court.
Jett Malcolm Morris was charged with one count of dangerous operation of a vehicle causing death or grievous bodily harm whilst adversely affected by an intoxicating substance after the January 6 crash.
Morris, of Landsborough, was also charged with driving under the influence of liquor.
His matters were adjourned until May 19
