Yule love the target tree

“ANYONE can be someone's Santa this Christmas.”

That's the message from UnitingCare Burnside and Target this year, as they begin their annual UnitingCare Share Christmas Gift Appeal once again.

As part of a national initiative aimed at helping those less fortunate, the UnitingCare Burnside Christmas Tree was erected outside of Target in Park Beach Plaza yesterday.

“Together, we can make a difference at Christmas by donating a gift to someone less fortunate than ourselves, local co-ordinator Joan Howlett said.

Anyone can grab a tag off the tree, and buy a suitable gift and return it to Target.

“The earlier the presents are under the tree, the earlier we can sort and distrubite them,” said Mrs Howlett.

Gifts and vouchers can be donated at Target until Christmas Eve.
