Youthfest packed full of fun

WHETHER you’re nine or 90, you can be part of Youthfest 2011.

As part of Youth Week activities, the event is happening at Nambucca Skate Park at Coronation Oval on Sunday April 10 from 10am to 4pm.

Event organiser Toby Frost said the day was about coming together as a community and was a free, family-friendly event.

“Last year 800 people turned out and we had nothing but positive feedback,” Mr Frost said.

“It doesn’t matter how old you are, there is something for everyone.”

Following on from last year’s success, the day will feature pro skate demonstrations and competitions for all skill levels with great prizes on offer.

There will be a wide range of activities including traditional indigenous games and a circus skills workshop, local DJs, a jumping castle, career and lifestyle information support, food stalls and plenty of entertainment.

To run a stall on the day contact Chris Hewgill or Peter Lea on 6568 7777.
