Youth live it up

YOUTH Week starts on Saturday and there will be happenings all week from April 10 to 18

Saturday will see Coffs Harbour’s Pioneer Park hopping all day with the Live it Up Live it Now! Festival while Toormina Skate Park will host a barbecue and skateboarding event hosted by CHERI.

Construction of a half-pipe skateboard ramp for use at the Northern Beaches Youth Centre in Woolgoolga’s Queen Street will be the focus of a workshop from April 10 to 18.

There will be free surf lessons at Diggers Beach on April 10, 11, 17 and 18. See www.coffsharbour.nsw.gov.au/youthweek for details.

Nambucca Valley Youth Service Centre will present Youthfest 2010 on Sunday at Nambucca Skate Park.
