Young girl taken to hospital after dog bite

A YOUNG girl has been taken to hospital after she was bitten by a dog in Melbourne's north.

An Ambulance Victoria spokeswoman said paramedics were called to an address in Glenroy about noon today.

The girl, believed to be three-years-old, was taken to the Royal Children's Hospital by ambulance.
