LADY Gaga has two and RJ Mitte of Breaking Bad has one.

Emerging Australian actresses Lucy Fry and Jessica Green, who appear in the movie Vampire Academy, also have one each.

And the Jivana hot yoga mat was developed right here on the Sunshine Coast.

Kawana resident Stacy Downey wanted to give the convenience of having a unique yoga mat and towel all-in-one, and launched the product at Kunara Organic Marketplace in Forest Glen yesterday.

As part of a health and wellbeing day, the mats were used in an aerial Pilates display by Posture Positive.

"It was wonderful to see the excitement in people's faces when they thought they might be able to do something like that," Ms Downey said.

Ms Downey was delighted at community interest in the wellbeing day, which attracted more than 100 people.

"It's all about the health and the diversity," Ms Downey said, explaining how the event promoted organic, healthy food choices and exercise.

"Whether you are stretching on the ground, doing hot yoga ... anything."

The specialised yoga mat has a silicone base and microfibre surface which absorbed moisture, she said.

"So many people on the Sunshine Coast can benefit ... for yoga, beach, parks, anywhere. Your mat should always be in your car."

The yoga mat was launched in North America this month and is the world's most luxurious, soft, sanitary, durable yoga mat available, Ms Downey said.
