Wrong side of the road, wrong side of the law

A MAN has been arrested in Coffs Harbour after allegedly being caught driving while disqualified.

About 2.25am today, a purple Daihatsu Terios was driving north on Meadow St, when it allegedly crossed to the wrong side of the road and hit a parked car.

Police were contacted and attended the scene and commenced an investigation.

The 24-year-old male driver was taken to Coffs Harbour Hospital for treatment for head injuries, and for blood and urine testing.

At this stage the man is expected to be charged with disqualified driving, negligent driving and breach bail.

Police are continuing with inquiries.
