Writers wanted for new expo

Are you a budding or experienced writer? The inaugural Bowra Regional Writers' Expo will be held November 19 from 10am to 4pm at the Pioneers Community Centre, 70 High St, Bowraville.

Celebrating writers in the Nambucca Valley, Kempsey, Bellingen and Coffs Coast regions this expo is seeking local writers to be part of the fun.

Visitors to the expo will have the opportunity to meet the authors, buy their new and past releases and have books signed.

Writers will read excerpts from their books and poems and there will be a range of workshops on public speaking, writing your own work, careers in journalism, publishing, introduction to Gumbaynggirr language, poetry collage, fantasy writing and more.

A second hand book sale, raffle, gold coin entry and refreshments round out the event which is a fund raiser for the Community Centre.
