Worlds away on the menu
ANOTHER sign that summer is on its way returns to Coffs Harbour this Friday evening.
The Twlight Food Market is back at Park Beach Reserve, offering families the chance to eat their way around the world.
Organiser Maureen Shaw said there would be plates to tempt everyone.
"This is our third year of the Twilight Market and our stallholders have been selected for not just the quality of their cuisine but also the variety," Maureen said.
"Visitors will have the chance to sample food from Japan, Vietnam, France, India, Italy, Morocco and Mexico, plus there will be vendors selling fish'n'chips and the most beautiful deserts and sweets, plus coffee, tea and ice cream.
"Plates will range from $5 to $10 so it's perfect for families who want to unwind after a busy week in the beautiful Park Beach Reserve. There will be a kids' water slide and jumping castle, plus entertainment from Christina Monneron and Jenny Willo, who perform as Fuego.
"Bring chairs or blankets, bring granny or the grandkids; the market is for everyone. You can even bring wine and beer."
The market begins at 5pm and concludes at 9pm every Friday night during daylight saving, except for Friday, October 24, when the Coast-Out festival takes over the site.
