Work on Ballards Rd interchange to slow traffic at night

MOTORISTS may be encountering some delays while night work is being carried out on the Nambucca Heads to Urunga upgrade of the Pacific Hwy.

Work startled last night on the upgrade of the Ballards Rd interchange south of Urunga.

The work will continue tonight as well as from Sunday Thursday, May 21.

Work crews will be on site between 6pm and 7am to carry out asphalting.

The wire rope barrier is also being removed so further major work can be carried out on the intersection.

Alternating traffic flow arrangements is in place during work with a reduced speed limit of 40kmh.
