Woman still in critical condition

TWO people remain seriously ill in hospital after Wednesday’s fatal smash south of Macksville.

The driver of a southbound Holden, an 80-year-old Mascot man, is in a serious but stable condition in Newcastle’s John Hunter Hospital.

A 77-year-old Tuncurry woman was yesterday airlifted to Sydney’s Royal North Shore Hospital where her condition was critical. A 78-year-old Tuncurry woman died from her injuries.
