Woman freed from wreck

A WOMAN, 37, had to be freed from her overturned wreck on Hogbin Drive near Toormina early yesterday.

Emergency crews were called to the scene about 4am after the woman lost control of her northbound Mitsubishi Pajero, which careered off the road and tipped on its side down an embankment.

Meantime, police are investigating reports of a rock being thrown at a bus at Middle Boambee Road on Monday afternoon.

A sliding window came off second best in the incident, which happened about 3.10pm.
