Ebbw Vale pair seriously injured in Rosewood crash

A WOMAN and boy from Ebbw Vale have been seriously injured in a crash at Rosewood.

The pair were in a vehicle heading north along Albert St about 6.45pm Monday when they collided with another car travelling west along Lanefield Rd.

A 60-year-old woman and her passenger, an 8-year-old boy, were transported to the Princess Alexandra Hospital with serious injuries.

The driver and sole occupant of the second vehicle, a 28-year-old man from Laidley South, was not injured in the crash. The Forensic Crash Unit is investigating.
