Winehouse comes to Coffs

HARD living singer Amy Winehouse as depicted by cartoonist Judy Hardin in the Women of the World cartoon exhibition, which has a free opening at the Bunker Cartoon Gallery at 6pm today.

Judy Hardin will attend tonight's opening.

The exhibition includes cartoons from more than 75 women from 23 countries, including Australia, proving women can be just as funny as men, even if their topics differ.

Gallery manager Louise Rawson Harris is hoping to make the exhibition an annual event to coincide with International Women's Day.

The Bunker is also showcasing work by Russian children from the Urals Caricature Club 'Cranberry' of Ozersk as well as Kaleidoscope- design-based pastels and watercolours by Lionel Gailer.
