Wildcats win to end perfect day for Woolgoolga women

IN A huge day for women's football in Woolgoolga, the club's six female teams picked up wins in their respective grades.

Celebrations were led by the Wildcats who are now in second spot on the women's premier league table following their 4-3 win over Northern Storm Cyclones.

They moved ahead of that team and Urunga who were also beaten in the weekebd round.

Apart from first grade, Woolgoolga's 12's, both 14's, 16's and reserve grade sides were able to sing the victory song after the final whistle.

Men's premier league saw the expected big wins by Urunga and Boambee while neither side found the back of the net when the Dingoes and Thunder mket at Dairyville.
