Wild weather ahead

COFFS Coast residents shouldn't pack the umbrellas and gum boots away just yet as there is more heavy rain and strong winds on the way.

The Bureau of Meteorology office in Coffs Harbour says we shouldn't expect as much rain as there was on March 31 but the next few days are likely to be very wet.

The showers of yesterday will increase today with rain expected to be heavy in the north.

There will be strong winds with dangerous surf developing along the coast.

The bad weather is predicted to ease by the weekend.
