Wifi information service rolls out from Bellingen library

WIFI computer access is now available in Maam Gaduying Park through an extension to the Bellingen library service.

Residents and visitors are able to log on to the internet in a wider area of the park and surf the net in the sun, on the grass or at one of the picnic tables.

Bellingen Mayor Cr Mark Troy said this is a great initiative and will deliver a big improvement for public access to information and communications.

"This is fantastic initiative will help people get online with their phone, tablet or laptop," he said.

"I applaud everybody who was involved in the project.

"I'm sure this will prove a popular service with residents and visitors alike."

A similar program will be rolled out at Dorrigo and Urunga libraries later in the year.
