RUGBY: USQ and Bears punched their Wagners Risdon Cup finals’ tickets with dominate wins at the weekend.

Needing a win to keep their finals dream alive, Roma had no answer in their 46-15 loss to Bears.

Oliver Peak, Nick Loughnan and Andrei Dobrota scored tries for the visiting Echidnas but that is all they had to celebrate.

In what should serve as warning to the rest of the competition Bears five different tryscorers with Aaron Sillitoe (3), Jacob Gross, Lachlan Palmer, William Jackson and Callum Skinner all crossing the line.

Jackson also contributed with the point kicking four conversions and a penalty.

USQ ran out 37-19 winners in their clash with Condamine.

FINAL STANDINGS: Rangers 35, Bears, 19, Condamine 14, USQ 12, Roma 11.

Rangers will play USQ in week one of the finals, with Bears to face Condamine. Both matches are knockouts.
