Wheatvale pins hopes on all rounder
CRICKET: After scoring an unbeaten 20 to secure a Warwick win in Davis Shield last Sunday, Jared Fearby will be one of the trump cards in the Wheatvale clash with Sovereign at Slade Park today.
Fearby hit 14 runs off the final three balls for Warwick to defeat Lockyer by one wicket. He may be in the Wheatvale team more as a bowler but shows plenty of class with the bat.
Harrison Glasgow has been the Wheatvale star this season with a score of 154.
Cahal Davis continues to impress with both bat and ball for Sovereign.
Last weekend, Victoria Hill brothers Nick, Joe and Tom Morris scored 83 between them in Davis Shield cricket.
Even though they have only enjoyed one win, Victoria Hill has moved to sixth place in the club's first season for 15 years.
Tony Morris has a son and four nephews in the team which plays premiers Maryvale Condamine at Allora today.
Allora has a chance to play at Slade Park tomorrow and will face a keen Warwick Hotel Colts team, which is unaccustomed to being on the bottom of the table.
Fern twins Joseph and Tom, who are in the Colts side, bring plenty of enthusiasm.
