The Vampires

What: ARIA and Australian music prize short-listed jazz world roots quartet The Vampires are touring and Coffs is on the list. With its roots in the jazz tradition the band combines virtuosic risk-taking improvisation, sophisticated compositions and an uncanny sense of dialogue between the sax-trumpet front line to create a style of their own.

Where: The Jetty Memorial Theatre.

Coffs Harbour Harmony Festival

What: Travel the world without leaving home and head on down to this years Harmony Festival. It's a celebration of the beauty of cultural diversity and the common ground we all share an will feature The Beats and Feets dance and drumming tent with workshops, Henna decoration, Ethiopian/Eritean coffee ceremony and the opportunity to sit and crochet with Syrian women.

What: Join special guest speaker, Southern Cross University PhD candidate, Alejandro Tagliafico as he talks about improving coral aquaculture for reef conservation and the aquarium trade. Come along and listen in to Alejandro as he talks about his work in optimising coral growth and survival.

Sydney hotshots

What: The Hotshots are on their way to the Plantation Hotel with brand-new guys and an all-new show for 2018. Enjoy two hours packed with exciting entertainment, including a variety of games and competitions and some up-close-and-personal attention from the guys up on stage.
