What you need to know about HSC results

AS A record number of Victorian secondary students prepare to find out their VCE results this morning, Clarence Valley graduates still have a two-day wait ahead to get their marks.

HSC results will be delivered via email and text message from 6am on Wednesday, and can also be accessed in My Details on the BOSTES website.

If you wish to opt out of receiving your results by email or SMS, go to My Details before 5pm tomorrow to make the necessary changes.

According to BOSTES, the text message will look something like this:

  • EngAd 85 5
  • FrenB 85 5
  • Geog 81 5
  • GMaths 72 4
  • HistX 43 E3
  • Mhist 91 6

And here's what that represents:

  • English (Advanced), HSC Mark 85, Band 5
  • French Beginners, HSC Mark 85, Band 5
  • Geography, HSC Mark 81, Band 5
  • General Mathematics, HSC Mark 72, Band 4
  • History Extension, HSC Mark 43, Band E3
  • Modern History, HSC Mark 91, Band 6

From December 30, students can download all BOSTES credentials from My Details as a PDF.

Credentials may include a HSC Testamur, Record of Achievement, and personalised course reports.

The HSC Results Inquiry Centre (1300 13 83 23) will be available from 8am on Wednesday, with other HSC results services to start on Friday.
