West Indies have new look, but aim for same result

AFTER thrashing Pakistan by 150 runs in Christchurch to get their World Cup campaign back on track, the West Indies will be looking for another scalp when they take on Zimbabwe in Canberra today.

The teams have not met in an ODI since February 2013 when the West Indies won at St George's Park in Grenada to claim the series 3-0.

Plenty has changed since then, however.

Just three players from the 13-man West Indies squad that took out that series - Darren Bravo, Dinesh Ramdin and Andre Russell (pictured) - were in the side that demolished Pakistan last week. And of that trio, Bravo won't be playing today after he injured his hamstring against Pakistan.

As predicted, Pool B has emerged as a lottery in this tournament, with only India having won both its games - against Pakistan and South Africa. Today's winner will join India on two wins.
