AUSTRALIAN entertainer and celebrity Sophie Monk has fallen in love with Toowoomba as she soaked up the action at the Weetwood Races at Clifford Park today.

The former reality show star, radio presenter and singer was the special guest at the annual race day, judging the Fashions on the Field as well.

Ms Monk said she had been amazed at the quality of entrants into the fashion section.

"It was really competitive, it was super hard to choose someone because everyone put a lot of effort into it," she said.

Ms Monk said she even brought her parents along to enjoy Weetwood, which she said had been an amazing experience.

"I love Toowoomba - my parents actually came with me because they love it so much," she said.

"This has been one of my favourite racing days ever, I'm not lying.

"It is so cool, everyone is so nice and even Dad made a win (on the horses)."

The Fashions on the Field were won by the Gold Coast's Milano Imai for the women's section, and Gordon Cooper for the men's category.
