BRONCOS halfback Ben Hunt says his opposite No.7 on Sunday, Cronulla playmaker Chad Townsend, is in career best form and will present a significant challenge.

While Hunt and Anthony Milford are rated among the best halves combinations in the NRL, Hunt says they will have their hands full with Townsend and the crafty James Maloney.

Townsend has blossomed in his short time with the Sharks after playing 41 games for the Warriors in the past two seasons.
He has quickly struck up a good combination with Maloney, who also spent in Auckland, playing 75 games for the Warriors over three seasons before joining the Roosters in 2013.

The former New South Wales Origin rep was a member of the Roosters' premiership team in his first year with the club.
Hear what Hunt says about the Sharks and their premiership claims.
