Virgin Airlines new Kids Class

VIDEO: Virgin introduces Australia Kids Class on flights

VIRGIN Australia have announced they will offer the world's first "Kids Class" travel option for young travellers.

In an advertisement released this morning, Virgin unveiled plans to offer children a specifically kid-friendly cabin with "Teddy Menu", custom food options and "kickers" -- pads added to the back of chairs for them to kick.

The flight safety guide will also be "chewable" for travellers who may feel nervous on the flight.

In a video, Virgin Australia described it as "A 100% adult-free cabin, just for our junior flyers".

"At Virgin Australia we recognise the magic of flying is discovered from a very young age.

"In fact, every year we welcome more than 90,000 kids on board".

Children will also be given "priority check-in" and "trunkie service" ahead of their flights.
