VIDEO: Tree kangaroo joey Mian wows the world

Oh hello, this is Mian.

The six-month-old Goodfellow's tree kangaroo joey is the first born at the zoo in almost four decades.

The Papua New Guinea Goodfellow's tree kangaroo is highly endangered.

The joey was born six months ago to mother Kalului but the zoo only made the joyful news public on Thursday.

Last year, Perth Zoo introduced male Huli from Queensland to meet local females Doba and Kaluli.

Mian is only the fifteenth male born in the global breeding program.

The zoo hopes for more bundles of joey in the future.
