Veterans defy age to show plenty of class in Warwick hockey

AFTER the success of the Condamine Sports Club Veterans' Nines carnival in Warwick, the hockey focus will move to the club scene.

Redcliffe team Red Schwars won the carnival from runners-up Safffit and all prizemoney was donated to Townsville hockey to help with flood repairs.

In a change from last season, senior Warwick club games will be played on Friday nights and Saturdays on the water-based synthetic turf at Queens Park. To sign up, email warwickhockeyqld@gmail.com or call Angela Groves on 0407021450.
