Valla markets go bi-monthly

VALLA Beach will hold its second community market on October 4.

Organisers of the first market in August said it was so well-received they were planning to make the Valla Beach Community Markets a bi-monthly affair, to be held on the first Saturday of every second month.

This means the next two markets will be on October 4 as well as December 6.

Visitors to the first markets commented on the homemade cakes and slices, the real coffee and tea and the great food on offer.

As well as the variety of stalls which catered to most tastes, there was all-day live music and lots of raffles, giving visitors a chance to walk away with a prize and next Saturday's event is poised to repeat the experience.

The markets are held at Valla Beach Community Preschool on Valla Beach Road from 8am until 2pm.
