Valla accident banks up Pacific Hwy traffic

THERE'S good news and bad news when it comes to motorists tackling the Pacific Hwy on Boxing Day. The bad news is an accident near Valla.

The good news is the usual long queues south of Macksville aren't as bad as what they usually are on this day.

One of two northbound lanes is closed after a multi vehicle accident.

Northbound traffic is queueing for about 8km while the centre median is being repaired of the damage the accident caused.

There is also a smaller queue of traffic for those travelling south.

For those who have been used to long queues south of Macksville in the past, this accident is a cause of frustration considering today the Macksville bottle neck is only causing delays of about 5 to 10 minutes.
