A CRASH between a ute and a four wheel drive has left one upside down and extensive damage to the other on Tannum Sands Rd outside the Police Station at 3.50pm this afternoon. 

Only the drivers were in the cars and both were able to get out of their vehicles. 

There are two Queensland Ambulance Service units monitoring the drivers and one driver will be taken to the Gladstone Hospital with injuries.

Police are on the scene and will investigate the cause of the crash.
