Urunga Fishing Club news

AFTER a wet start to the weekend some big snapper were caught on Sunday, with Darren Troy and Adam Bradley catching fish to 10kg.

Col Humphries with Les Rowe and Les Donnelly catching snapper to 8kg.

Andrew McCabe with dad Richard and son Archie had snapper and mack tuna.

Mark Naidoo with Chris Kearns caught snapper, gold-spotted wrasse and flathead, while Pat Connor and Ted Carter took snapper. The Urunga Bowling Club monthly jackpot was won by Clayton Harpur with trevally.

Luderick continue to be taken in the river by Wayne Cooper, Fred McCarthy, Richard McCabe, Carl Redmond , Archie McCabe and Wal Tyson catching fish to a 1kg.

Archie didn't take very good care of Nans rod.

Paul Alexander also took bream and luderick while Sam Taylor with Sam Durbidge caught mulloway and flathead.
