Upgrade in final stages

THE final stages of the Sapphire to Woolgoolga Pacific Highway upgrade are under way.

Highway access and service-road detours were put in place last week as low-noise pavement was laid on the stretch of the new highway and works on the service road continued towards completion.

Major traffic changes are expected to carry on this week, weather permitting.

The RMS is asking motorists to take note of traffic management and electronic signage and stick to speed limits.
