Up, up and away in style with Brindabella

COFFS Coast travellers planning on heading to Brisbane with Brindabella Airlines from now on are in for a treat – they will be travelling in the impressive J41 Jetstream Aircraft.

Chief executive officer of Brindabella Airlines, Jeff Boyd, was in Coffs Harbour on Wednesday to launch the new J41 Jetstream Aircraft.

“This aircraft allows us to give our clients a better standard of service,” he said.

“Basically it's a bigger, nicer aeroplane. With a cruise speed of 540km/h the J41 is the fastest and by far the most fuel efficient aircraft in its class.

“It also means we will be able to offer a wider range of fares. At this stage, it will be the same time schedule.”

The J41 is a significant step up in Brindabella's fleet, given it has the capacity to carry 30 passengers and three crew members including a flight attendant – something not previously offered by the service.
