Two tribes go to war

IT has been a long 11-year wait for the Group 2 grand final to once again have two Coffs Harbour teams battle it out for the big prize.

Tomorrow Woolgoolga Sportsground is expected to be jam packed as the Seahorses play host to Orara Valley.

To ensure tomorrow's affair has a bumper crowd watching on, Coffs Harbour will be playing in the reserve-grade decider while Sawtell are favourites to claim victory in the under 18s.

In 1997, the last time the grand final was a local derby, a massive crowd flocked to Advocate Park to watch the Axemen defeat Coffs Harbour in an extra-time thriller.

An equally intense affair is expected tomorrow.
