Two hospitalised after near-drowning at Coast beach

TWO people have been hospitalised after a near-drowning at Currimundi this morning.

Paramedics were called to a location off Buderim St at 9.39am after Surf Life Savers reportedly helped four people out of the water, a Queensland Ambulance spokesman said.

Two patients were treated at the scene and were taken to Sunshine Coast University Hospital in a stable condition.
