Truth hard to handle

IN LETTERS (CCA 11/7), M. Randall asks why the media can't call a spade a spade when it comes to these border-hopping boaters we see calling the HMAS Taxi Service on the taxpayer-funded last leg of their cruise to Centrelink.

Some bed-wetting lefty do-gooders couldn't handle the truth and made complaints to the Australian Press Council who then put out guidelines about the reporting of these illegals so as to not hurt their feelings and make their trip for welfare sound legit.

They are now to be referred to as anything but illegal immigrants until the next election.
