Trial match lights up BCU stadium
THERE’S only two weeks to go before the NRL trial match between South Sydney and Gold Coast is played in Coffs Harbour and grandstand seats are selling fast.
While there is plenty of room left for those who wish to sit or stand in the outer for the big clash, those looking for a seat in the stand have been urged to get in quick.
Not only is the match bringing two of the best NRL teams to the Coffs Coast but Coffs Harbour City Council Mayor Cr Keith Rhoades points out it will be an occasion to allow locals to see the newly installed lights used for the first time.
“This game is not just the chance to see top-flight NRL teams take each other on in Coffs Harbour but it’s the first time any crowd will experience a game at the BCU International Stadium under digital TV-standard lights,” Rhoades said.
“Get your tickets now to make sure you don’t miss out on this historic event.”
The match on Saturday, February 19, will kick off at 7.00pm with gates open at 4pm for pre-match events.
