Travel to another galaxy with YAS

NOT so long ago, in a galaxy not so far away, a little robot has gone missing and with him have gone the secret files that could end the reign of the evil Queen Pangea.

The cast of the Coffs Harbour Young Actors Studio (YAS) is bringing Humpty Dumpty: The Egg’s Files, an hilarious sci-fi/comedy pantomime by Australian playwright Tony Nicholls, to the Jetty Memorial Theatre.

It is being directed by Belinda Lemair – an experienced, actor, dancer, teacher and the creative force and owner of the Young Actors Studio.

“YAS is an excellent pathway for those young actors wanting to get into the performing arts industries and pursue their passion for drama,” Belinda said.

“This production of Humpty Dumpty: The Egg’s Files, will be the first time it has been seen on stage on the Mid North Coast and the cast has been busy rehearsing for the past three months.”

Belinda started YAS in Bondi in 2003, bringing the concept to the Coffs Coast when she relocated here in 2010, and has since staged 10 productions which enabled young local actors to take to the stage.

The show: 1pm and 6pm, Saturday and Sunday, at Jetty Memorial Theatre, tickets $10 at door before each show.
