FLYING HIGH: The Windsong Travel team celebrate their Gold Choice Award.

Travel agency's honour

COFFS Coast's Windsong Travel has joined an elite group of Australian travel agencies by again winning a coveted Gold Choice Award.

Windsong Travel was one of 10 Australian travel retailers presented with a Gold Choice Award during a ceremony held recently in Perth.

Travellers Choice is an exclusive collection of leading independently owned travel agencies with about 150 stores.

To receive a Gold Choice Award a travel company must rank among the top 10 performing travel agencies in the national group.

"Winning agencies demonstrated outstanding customer service, travel expertise and business acumen,” Travellers Choice managing director Christian Hunter said.

"Windsong Travel is one of Australia's leading travel agencies because it combines exceptional travel knowledge and skills with an understanding of its local community and the unique needs of its clients.”

Windsong Travel owner James Cracknell said: "I am so proud to receive the Gold Choice Award. It is an amazing team effort.

"It's incredible what can be achieved from such small regional towns.

"We are up against all the metropolitan areas in Australia and we can still rank among the top performing agencies.

"A huge thanks to the loyal support we get from our clients, we can't achieve this without you.''

Windsong Travel is an independently owned travel agency based on the Coffs Coast with branches in Bellingen, Sawtell and Inverell and is also the owner of Coffs Coast Travel.
