Trainers inspire their students

TWO trainers at a leading city health club have proved inspirational in their own right.

Personal trainers Anne-Marie Herden and Cath Harrison, who work at Healthy Inspirations, were among the star performers at the North Coast TAFE graduation awards ceremony.

Ms Herden received the top award for Health and Fitness and Ms Harrison graduated with the Award for Excellence in Certificate IV in Fitness.

Both women said they had a great time being students again and were thrilled to have done it with style.

“Clients at Healthy Inspirations have been very supportive,” Ms Harrison said.

“We also completed Level 1 and Advanced Instructors’ Course in THUMP Boxing, which was a lot of fun.”

While the awards are a personal achievement for Anne-Marie and Cath, they also represent the increasing level of professional training in the fitness industry.

“This means women can have confidence in the expertise of their coaches to help them achieve a healthy lifestyle,” Ms Herden said.
