Two-year-old drowns in cattle dip

A TWO-YEAR-OLD child has drowned on a rural property about 50km south-east of Nebo.

The accident happened about 12.30pm on Saturday at Waitara Station.

A police media spokesman said the child was found in a cattle dip.

The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.

Queensland Ambulance Service, police and RACQ-CQ Rescue all responded to the accident.
