Tragedy strikes Bay family again

A HERVEY Bay doctor whose brother disappeared in the missing Malaysia Airlines flight MH370 has lost two more family members in the Ukraine aircraft crash.

Victorian couple Albert and Maree Rizk, who are related to the Burrows by marriage, were on board the ill-fated MH17 flight after missing an earlier flight, following a month's holiday in Europe.

Hervey Bay's Dr Paul Burrows, whose brother Rodney Burrows and sister-in-law Mary Burrows were on the MH730, was overseas yesterday and could not be reached for comment.

But his Biloela-based parents, Irene and George Burrows, learned their son-in-law's daughter and husband were passengers on Malaysia Airlines flight MH17.

The Burrows family declined to comment on this latest tragedy yesterday.
