Toys collected for foster kids

THIS Christmas season, Morayfield Shopping Centre has provided a huge donation box inside our newest retailer, Mobile Independence, located just outside the Dick Smith entrance doors, to collect toys for Anglicare Southern Queensland.

The toys will be donated to children in need of fostering this Christmas to make their day a little brighter.

Gifts should be left unwrapped and tagged for what age and gender it would best suit.

Many of the children Anglicare donate to are escaping abusive and dangerous situations at home and arrive with little more than the clothes on their back.

Many have never experienced a 'real' Christmas.

They have never woken up to gifts, never had the joy of decorating a Christmas tree and never experienced a family Christmas lunch.

Presents can be donated from now up until December 24.
