Toy run on Saturday

HUNDREDS of Harleys will rumble through the region on Saturday, all for a great cause.

The 17th annual Mid North Coast Harley Owners Food and Toy Run gets under way from the North Beach Bowling Club at noon.

Up to 300 bikes will set off for Bonville where they will travel down Lyons Road and eventually Hogbin Drive before making a bee-line for the barbecue area at the Jetty Foreshores.

One of the organisers, Debbie Hull-Moody said the bikers will deliver a big dose of Christmas joy for the Salvation Army.

“The bikers will be bringing gifts, but we welcome donations of new and pre-loved toys, non-perishable foodstuffs and cash. They can be brought to the Jetty Foreshores, before, during or after the run,” Ms Hull-Moody said.

Donations can also be left at North Coast V Twins in GDT Seccombe Close or at the Salvation Army depot, in Mastracolas Rd.
