Tourism awards for Coffs Harbour

THE Big Banana Fun Park, Sealy Lookout and the State Forests of the Coffs Coast have been applauded at the NSW Tourism Awards.

The Big Banana's newest addition, the water park won Gold in the Major Tourist Attraction category.

Big Banana general manager Michael Lockman said he was absolutely thrilled with the win and hoped the attraction would now vie for the People's Choice Award.

"Winning Gold gave the Big Banana automatic entry into the State Awards, which opens up the opportunity now for the People's Choice Award," Mr Lockman said.

"In order to win this award, we need people to go online and vote for us," he said.

Member for Coffs Harbour Andrew Fraser said Sealy Lookout and the State Forests of the Coffs Coast also came in for honourable mentions at the awards.
