Toronto Underground Market is back

GET 'em if you can. The Toronto Underground Market is back and tickets are going faster than you can say 'foie gras dumpling'.

Better known as simply TUM, this underground market is a successful monthly food festival where hungry patrons sample tasty treats from amateur chefs wanting to make it big.

Not unlike other incubators, home cooks, wannabe chefs, weekend hobbyists, and anyone hoping to score with a food concept uses the market as a testing ground to see if people actually like their goods before plunging into business.

After a successful winter run, the market is back for the spring and summer operating out of a very cool space at the Toronto Brickworks.

And on the menu? Chicken and smoked cheddar spring rolls, shrimp fritters, pulled pork quesadillas, and coconut cream tarts, to name a few. Can you see why this is the hottest ticket in town?
