Toormina the champs

TOORMINA High School has taken out the Coffs Harbour Year 9 and 10 Indoor Cricket Challenge which was played on Tuesday.

Eight teams from John Paul College, Bishop Druitt College, Orara High and Toormina High contested the event with some great skills on display.

Toormina went through the day undefeated but the battle for the trophy went right down to the wire.

The Toormina boys came from behind in a couple of tight games and at the end of the day led the table by only one point.

In their last game, Bishop Druitt College had a great win over a John Paul College team to move into second place.

All teams displayed good sportsmanship and an enjoyable day was had by all. Toormina High and Bishop Druitt College now move onto the North Coast Indoor Finals to be played next term.
