Letter to the Editor - October 18:Tiny saving costs the Earth

NOW I have received our first electricity account showing the savings made by scrapping the carbon tax, I am able to make a reasonable estimate of the savings our household will make in the coming year.

Is it a surprise that our household will be about $50 better off?

I hope all those who voted for our current government do the sums for themselves and ask what is the real cost of climate denial.
