Time to warm up for chilli fest

THINGS are hotting up for this year's Sawtell Chilli Festival.

The 10th anniversary festival has something for everyone, with a range of chilli-related foods and products, activities and entertainment.

Australia's leading chilli product manufacturers will join regional restaurateurs in feeding the expected 6000-strong crowd, from the spicy foods novice through to the fussiest chilli connoisseur.

If chilli's not your thing, don't get hot under the collar as there will also be plenty of other food on offer and a range of entertainment such as street theatre and buskers, live bands, a school cook-off, a hat parade and the annual chilli eating competition.

Volunteers and sponsors are still needed to support the local community event, please contact 0418 483 536.
